The only valuable information contained in this is the final paragraph. There will always be case studies to cite that “carnivore will improve your health” “sugar will kill you” “going vegan will improve athletic performance” “paleo will make you stronger” “the zone will prevent weight rebound” etc.

If people would prioritize truly restful, quality sleep, 7 days a week and double their current daily intake of water, they would see myriad health markers improve with absolutely no other changes to their dietary habits.

Intermittent fasting is not magic, it simply decreases the likelihood of overeating, even when indulging in hyper-palatable/calorically dense foods.

As a 200lb bodybuilding enthusiast I can practically assure you I would be incapable of creating a caloric surplus with only 1 meal per day. (which would require ~3200calories) not to mention the body would prefer to get several moderate doses of protein (for optimal protein synthesis, which is what we all want if we intend to increase our lean body mass) rather than 1 elephant sized dose.

This honestly seems more like clickbait than true information. The most sustainable practices are often the most effective, even if they are not the most optimal on paper. Goals without plans are just wishes.
